Truth be told even if you are in the most ideal love, the most connected, honest, truth filled love it is still hard and can hurt, when you love someone…whether it be family, friend or romantic there is always as humans a fear of loss. This is why so many shut themselves off to love or limit to a great degree who they will love. We can find ways to deal with our fear but it is still there…you never know what could happen tomorrow and in that uncertainty we want to hold on tight to whatever or whomever we love. Love is challenging, however in my humble opinion worth all the heart ache. It takes courage to love and that is just the plain truth of the matter. ~Bonnie Currie

The Beauty of Things
To feel and speak the astonishing beauty of things—earth, stone and water,
Beast, man and woman, sun, moon and stars—
The blood-shot beauty of human nature, its thoughts, frenzies and passions,
And unhuman nature its towering reality—
For man’s half dream; man, you might say, is nature dreaming, but rock
And water and sky are constant—to feel

This post is dedicated to the image of the Supreme Mother of the Universe. I have added a chant to listen to while looking at the image so you may have a more full experience of this divine force of the cosmos. She offers a sense of protection to those who believe in her. She is a fortress against the evils of the world as well as a warrior who will destroy all those who wish to bring harm to the innocent. In times of suffering think of her to offer your mind and heart a sense of relief.
Today, I was looking up poetry by the late Arthur Rimbaud, an incredible romantic poet. I had to share this one because of my love for romantic poetry with a mythological theme. This is a truly beautiful piece of work! I understand his desire for the arcane world and find this to be a amazing expression of the senses. Enjoy! The Sun, the hearth of affection and life,
Pours burning love on the delighted earth,
And when you lie down in the valley, you can smell
How the earth is nubile and very full-blooded;
How its huge breast, heaved up by a soul,

Arthur Rimbaud, a French poet, was born October 1854 and died 10 November 1891. As part of the decadent movement , Rimbaud influenced modern literature, music, and arts, and prefigured surrealism. He as known as one of the most influential poets of the late Jim Morrison. Some quotes about his life as poet:
“I’m now making myself as scummy as I can. Why? I want to be a poet, and I’m working at turning myself into a seer. You won’t understand any of this, and I’m almost incapable of explaining it to you. The idea is to reach the unknown by the derangement of all the senses. It involves enormous suffering, but one must be strong and be a born poet. It’s really not my fault.”
“I say that one must be a seer, make oneself a seer. The poet makes himself a seer by a long, prodigious, and rational disordering of all the senses. Every form of love, of suffering, of madness; he searches himself, he consumes all the poisons in him, and keeps only their quintessences. This is an unspeakable torture during which he needs all his faith and superhuman strength, and during which he becomes the great patient, the great criminal, the great accursed – and the great learned one! – among men. – For he arrives at the unknown! Because he has cultivated his own soul – which was rich to begin with – more than any other man!
